Terms and Conditions (Purchasing)

These terms and conditions are for when you purchase a Gift Experience, click here for our website terms and conditions.

Our Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are listed below.

E-Voucher Gift Experiences
DesignaVenture Ltd issues E-Voucher Gift Experiences to suggest an appropriate experience for the recipient of the voucher. If the recipient would prefer a different experience, the voucher can be redeemed for a range of other activities. The descriptions and pictures contained within the website and on E-Voucher Gift Experiences do not form part of a contract. If you feel that an activity taking place no longer accurately represents an activity shown on the DesignaVenture Ltd website, we will offer alternative redemption options for the voucher or refund the purchase price. Once a specific date has been booked, you will become bound by the terms and conditions that the individual Operator may have. Experiences are subject to change without notice, but this does not affect your statutory rights.

To redeem your gift voucher, you must book your experience through DesignaVenture Ltd before arriving at the venue. It is essential to follow the procedure set out in the terms and conditions and your voucher pack to avoid incurring any costs. DesignaVenture Ltd will not be held liable if you do not follow the booking procedure, please contact us to book your experience. Once booked, we will promptly email you a booking confirmation and essential information pack.

Our prices are updated daily and accurate to the best of our knowledge. If we happen to make a pricing error, we will notify the buyer of the error within seven days of their e-voucher purchase or voucher redemption. The recipient can then choose to receive a full refund for the voucher or pay the extra cost, according to their preference. Once you place an order, we will finalise the contract and send you the products you ordered. Kindly note that promotional discount codes are only available for specific experiences offered by DesignaVenture Ltd.

DesignaVenture Ltd sells e-vouchers that are valid for twelve months from the date of issue, subject to availability and weather conditions on the day. To ensure a smooth experience, we advise you to book in advance and NOT arrange travel or accommodation until the we have confirmed your booking with our providers. If we cannot book your date, we’ll notify you as soon as possible.

Event Duration
Our website and gift e-vouchers provide estimated information on the duration of events. While we try our best to provide accurate session lengths and agendas, please note that these are subject to change and should be used as a guide only. Most events are ‘open’ days, which means other members of the public may also be participating. If you redeem your voucher for a multi-location experience, please be aware that session lengths, agendas, vehicles used and participant numbers may vary based on the location. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for delays, curtailments or breakdowns which are beyond our control.

Your Safety
The undertaking of these activities may involve some personal risk. With some events you may be required to sign a disclaimer on the day, so please read these documents carefully. Some private insurance policies may not cover some of the experiences in respect of which our e-vouchers may be redeemed. Please check with the us or the activity provider and your insurer well in advance of your day. Note that providers usually require participants to comply with specified safety procedures. Please listen and take note if they ask you to do something – it is generally for your safety.

E-Voucher Validity & Extensions
Our gift e-vouchers typically last for twelve months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. It is important to book a e-voucher before its expiration date, as it will be invalid afterward (the expiry date is clearly indicated on the voucher). If you need more time to plan your experience, we offer easy extensions please call 01432 830000, but only if the voucher is still within its expiry date. 

Please note that a £20 administration fee is required to extend a voucher, and if the activity’s current price has increased, the price difference must also be paid, subject to availability. Once a voucher is extended, refunds are not possible.

Experience Guidance
You may come across some restrictions imposed by our providers when selecting an experience. These restrictions could be related to age, health, physical ability, and size, and are not set by us. In case you are uncertain about a specific event, please  do contact us with your query and we will provide you appropriate guidance.”

Feedback Positive or Negative
If you have any issues on the day of your experience, please talk to the provider directly. They will take care of resolving the problem. We do not consider it reasonable to approach us or our providers for redress at a later date.

If you’re still not satisfied with the outcome, If a problem cannot be resolved during your trip, you must email or write to us within 14 days after returning and provide your e-voucher reference and details of the issues and any relevant photos. We will investigate your concerns and give the provider will also have the chance to reply to us, we will then respond to you within 28 days, if the above conditions have been met.  If your feedback positive or negative is not about the quality of your experience, please contact us.

When booking with an provider, their cancellation policy applies once a specific date has been reserved. Providers have the final say in changing dates and refunds are contingent upon their discretion. If providers are unable to change a date, refunds will not be possible. If a provider cancels an experience, they will contact us, but we advise that you proactively check with them before departing for your experience. Be aware that DesignaVenture Ltd cannot be held responsible for any financial losses incurred from travel expenses, accommodations, or insurance premiums. Thank you for your understanding.

Providers and Liability
Please note that when you redeem your e-voucher and book an experience with us, you are entering into a separate agreement with the provider. It is important to carefully read and understand their terms and conditions, including any restrictions that may apply. While DesignaVenture Ltd selects highly experienced providers, we cannot be responsible for the safety standards or the quality of the experience. All liability for loss, damage or injury suffered while participating in the experience lies solely with the provider. When you purchase a DesignaVenture Ltd e-voucher and book an experience through DesignaVenture Ltd, you acknowledge that factors beyond our control can affect the experience. Neither DesignaVenture Ltd nor any provider is liable for the cancellation, postponement or alteration of any experience due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. We do not undertake any technical examination of equipment and services. In case of any mechanical breakdown, please speak to the provider for reasonable substitutions. The total liability of DesignaVenture Ltd for any claim whatsoever related to the DesignaVenture Ltd e-voucher or the experience redeemed shall be limited to the price paid for the e-voucher. Note, images used in marketing material are only intended to give a general idea and are not part of any contract.

To bring spectators along to your selected experience, simply inform us when you book your date. Some providers may require a fee for additional guests. Please be aware that all spectators must follow the provider’s rules and expectations and will not be allowed on site if under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

E-voucher – FREE
After making the payment, an e-mail confirmation will be sent to you. We will then create your e-voucher (within office hours) and email it to you so you can easily print the voucher off at home – if there are any anomalies we will call you, so you receive your perfect e-voucher.

Royal Mail Standard Delivery £4.99
Orders will be delivered within 3-5 Working Days.

Royal Mail Special Delivery from £9.99
Orders must be placed by 4pm to ensure next-day delivery (Monday-Friday).

We offer refunds for unused vouchers purchased directly from DesignaVenture Ltd within 30 days of purchase. Once an experience has been booked with the provider, their Terms and Conditions apply. You should familiarise yourself with these at the time of booking. Refunds will only be made to the purchaser of the e-voucher and will be refunded directly via the original method of payment. If this is not possible for any reason, the refund will be issued by bank transfer. Refunds are processed and take between 5 and 10 working days to appear in the purchaser’s account. To request a refund, please contact us here with the necessary information, and our team will respond to your request within 5 working days.

Physical Vouchers           
If you order physical vouchers before the weekday cut-off times, we’ll dispatch them the same day by First Class Royal Mail (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Next Day delivery is available for an extra cost (for UK only). We can’t be responsible for any losses due to delayed mail. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers, so please keep them in a safe place like you would with money.

Discount Codes
Discount codes are available for a limited time and may be withdrawn without notice. Only one discount can be used per order and is not applicable for extensions, delivery, or any other facility provided by DesignaVenture Ltd. Discount codes are exclusively for online orders placed on and can only be used for the initial voucher purchase. DesignaVenture Ltd reserves the right to restrict discount codes from being applied to certain products. Also, selected products may have exclusive discounts for limited periods.

Competition/Charity Prizes
The competition/charity prizes are non-substitutable, non-extendable, and non-refundable.

Data Protection
We value your privacy and will only use your information for the purpose of processing orders, gathering feedback and data on our products and services, and sending promotional material if you have requested it. We may use sub-contractors to help us fulfil these tasks on our behalf.
